Rachel Taff is an author and television producer.
Her debut novel, PAPER CUT, publishes in early 2026 with William Morrow / Harper Collins in North America and Corvus / Atlantic Books in the UK. Sold at auction in a major two-book deal, PAPER CUT is a dual timeline suspense about a memoirist who rose to fame after escaping a cult as a teenager, but whose future is threatened by dangerous secrets that could undermine the story she has been telling both herself and the world.
Rachel currently consults for Dynamic Television, known for GINNY & GEORGIA and DROPS OF GOD, where she’s sold projects to Amazon and Hallmark. Previously, Rachel worked at Shoe Money Productions, helmed by Emmy-winning Director Thomas Schlamme, where she developed high-profile television projects for FX and managed a production slate including SNOWFALL, THE PLOT AGAINST AMERICA, and A WEST WING SPECIAL TO BENEFIT WHEN WE ALL VOTE. Additional television credits include SMILF, AMERICAN DAD, and FRESH OFF THE BOAT.
Rachel earned a Media Arts & Entertainment degree at Elon University and completed writing courses at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and UCLA. After a decade of living in Los Angeles, she currently resides in her hometown of Atlanta with her husband and their Portuguese water dog.
